While there were three versions of the song “Down Under”, I will be reviewing the most known one that was released in October 1981. This song is a goofy song. It’s got a very unique sound that I’ve only really heard from this song. It’s a weird mix of reggae and 80’s pop. This song to me is a staple of some of the goofy music that was created during the 80’s. I really like this song just because of how goofy it is. The lyrics are really interesting and easy to sing along to which is kind of important if it’s a pop song.
